I was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland. But my second home town is New York. Traveling in between these two cities helps me to strike a balance in between my social and creative needs. Initially I was trained in fine arts, but spending my entire childhood holding either a pencil or a brush was way to heavy! One day I bought a plastic, russian camera. I loved the process! Its liveness, spontaneousness and possibilities to create unique relationship with my sitters.
I decided to chase my dreams and ended up in NY where after years (we are talking long years) I earned my BFA in photography at Parsons School of Design. Thanks to outstanding artists and personalities I inquired there (Neil Selkirk, Vik Muniz, George Pitts, to name a few) I am walking my creative path with strength and bravery.
In 2010 I opened my own studio in Warsaw. Today I specialize in portraiture, as well as in photography of athletes and performers.
Ant there is also one more thing about myself I can share with you... I love chocolate!
